The Spearman - book cover concept art

So this went from being a rough sketch on a sheet of paper to being my very first digital painting, since i abandoned all forms of contour lines that usually feature in my other drawings.
Very pleased with how it turned out. It's meant to be a concept book cover to my novel titled (translated from norwegian) the Spearman. It's a fantasy novel that is meant to be the first in a line of independent fantasy stories set in the same big world, which is populated by many different cultures, races, creatures and lots of good stuff. This story delves into a lot of norse mythology, as can be seen on the cover (if you know what to look for ).
If it ever gets published, this wont feature on the cover, but its what I will show the eventual artist to get a sense of what I would like.
